The One Leisure Active Lifestyles team offers a wide range of sport and health related activities to promote a healthy population within the district.
Children, Young People and Families
- Under 5’s multi sports activities
- School Holiday Activities for Primary aged children
- School Sport – PE sessions, after school clubs and activity days
Inclusive & SEND Activities
- PEDALS adaptive cycling scheme available at Hinchingbrooke Country Park
- Sports for All – sports for disabled people in the community
- Home Education ‘PE lessons’
Older Adults
- Walking Sports including football and netball
- RightStart group exercise classes for older adults and those requiring additional support to exercise.
Low Cost / No Cost
- One Leisure Concessionary Discount Scheme for those on certain income or disability related benefits
- Wellbeing Walks led by volunteers across the District
- Healthy You courses offered free of charge to support people to get active
- Active for Health courses for inactive adults with a BMI above 25
- Staying Active courses for those developing balance problems and muscle weakness.
Long Term Health Conditions
- Exercise Referral to utilise the gym and leisure centre facilities
- Undefeatables Discount Scheme for those who have a diagnosis of certain long term health conditions
- Specialist Health Condition Group Exercise including Cardiac Rehab, Pulmonary Rehab, Living with & Beyond Cancer, ESCAPE Pain
